LESSON GUIDE
I provide the exact order and outline for teaching all 52 letters. I also show you how I group letters together based on how they are formed.
Every page has a lesson number and that you can follow.
ASSESSMENTS
Give a pre and post assessment to chart students' growth for both lowercase and uppercase letters.
COLORFUL POSTERS
These adorable charts are the perfect visual reminder for students to refer to while learning about the different ways to write letters.
PRE-TEACHING ACTIVITIES
These printables teach students about the different patterns, lines and curves in letters. I use these activities right before I teach a new group of letters. This helps students train their brain and hand muscles before we study specific letters. You can also laminate these activities and add them to a center for repeated practice.
HANDWRITING WORKSHEETS
Two versions for every uppercase and lowercase letter are included.
- One version has stars to show students where to start the letters, and the other version does not have the stars.
- First, we use the worksheet with stars to provide scaffolding.
- Next, I give them the exact same activity page that does not have stars. This builds their confidence and students appreciate this routine.
