D'Nealian Upper and Lower Case Letters Handwriting Book 2 in US Letter Paper Only
This is my 2nd book for introducing handwriting.
Book 1 contains lower case letters only.
This book includes both lower and upper case letters.
I have designed this with a large font and a small number of letters to trace and write as I find handwriting can often become a long and arduous activity and I also find many children need to build writing stamina.
I believe handwriting is important and children need to learn correct letter formation and pencil grip.
Please note NEW ZEALAND teachers the k is not NZ curriculum k - when I find a dotted font of this I will add an extra page including this. If anyone is able to let me know where I can obtain a dashed NZ lower case k please message me.
There are 4 covers, please see the thumbnail.
Each page is identical. So children quickly learn the system.
Each page generally has 7 letters across (except for very skinny letters i.e. the letter i has 9 across)
The title box includes the letter to color/colour and space for children to write their names.
1st row is trace lower case with arrows and without arrows.
2nd row is trace upper case with arrows and without arrows.
3rd row is an eg. of upper and lower case letters with arrows, the rest of the line is left empty for children to write the letters on their own.
4th row is a simple sentence to trace. Each sentence focuses on the letter introducing the sound and incorporating sight words.
Related pictures are at the bottom of the page.
