Description

Make teaching Kindergarten Summer School fun and easy! This 4 week summer school curriculum for incoming Kindergarten students will get them ready to hit the ELA standards when the new school year begins! Students will practice handwriting, letter and sound recognition, story elements, and more!

This curriculum is a supplemental summer school program that takes students through making friends and how to be at school through the books of your choice, with activities that will guide you in your teaching.

Here's what you'll get:

* 4 weeks of lesson plan overviews

* 4 weeks of scripted ELA lesson plans (Hook, I Do, We Do, You Do, Exit Ticket)

* Overview of procedures needed

* Daily Minutes needed to implement

* Craft Ideas for letter/sound learning

* Writing Pages (my favorite character__, compare and contrast, story elements, story map, asking questions)

* 3 activities per letter covered (M, S, F, P, L, G, R, B) - color and black/white

  • Beginning Sound Cut & Paste
  • Handwriting Page with drawing space
  • Words that begin with (letter) tracing page

Your students will love learning basic skills with a variety of hands-on and engaging activities. You'll be saving time lesson planning with the scripted lesson plans!
