What educators are saying

This reading assessment is wonderful for my students. I love the ease of using it and plan to continue using it to assess my students’ reading levels.
I love these reading passages as they allow me to have a quick look at where my readers are and how they are developing/moving forward.

    Description

Save precious instructional time by getting text level assessments done faster! These assessments help efficiently document students' reading skills/level at the beginning, middle, or end of the year.

We want to provide small group instruction at just the right level for each of our students. But, first we need to know their guided reading levels so we can effectively create these groups.

The need for current information continues through the year, as our students grow and learn.

We need a quick, effective way to determine each child's ideal Guided Reading Placement Level.

There are a couple widely-used tools available - but they are both expensive and very time consuming. Using those tools, we sometimes have to complete several running records to find the instructional level of a single student.

This Text Level Estimator is fast and effective!

★ It takes less than 10% of the time it would take to complete running records on each student.

★ It's available at a fraction of the cost and uses much less paper.

Both reading accuracy and comprehension are considered in determining the student's Initial Placement Level.

Take a look at the preview to see how this works!

I hope you'll join me in advocating to save time while still getting the information we need to provide high-quality small group instruction for our young readers.
