Kaya: Welcome to Kaya's World 1764

Month long unit study that follows the American Girl book "Welcome to Kaya's World 1764". Each day includes what pages to read and activities, The activities range from videos, websites, crafts, recipes from the era, or other activities. Full craft supply list is included so you can buy supplies in advance. Suggested supplemental library topics and ideas for field trips are also included.

This is a great way to dive into American History for a young girl. It covers fun concepts like clothes, food, babies, daily life and then also goes into the important historical facts from the period such as war, disease, and important people.

We received these books for free and couldn't find a curriculum to accompany them so I have created this. I used it for my daughter and my friend has used it for her daughter. You can modify if needed to meet your own needs but it was really fun for us to do!
