Description

Kansas Worksheets Webquest Reading Research Activity Mini Book

These state of Kansas webquest research worksheets are a great way to introduce important information in about the state. Students use the internet to learn about Kansas and fill in the worksheets to create a mini book. They will learn about Kansas's natural resources, agriculture, industries, state symbols, and more in this webquest.

A scrambled answer sheet is provided to help students with special needs, or to speed up the research process as they learn about the state of Kansas. This worksheet gives them hints about answers that they may be looking for as they research through each section of the mini unit.

A full answer key is included. We used black and white graphics so students can color the cover of their mini-book about Kansas.

Some of the information they learn about Kansas in this mini unit include:

Kansas natural resources

Kansas agriculture

Kansas industry

Kansas state symbols

They also find two fun facts about Kansas.

This Kansas mini project is an engaging activity for fast finishers in your classroom. It's also a valuable enrichment lesson to enhance informational reading skills, or as part of your social studies curriculum.
