Kanji Practice Slips

These practice slips are designed to be cut out and pasted into an Interactive Notebook. However, they can also be printed and kept by students as whole sheets.

Students list the kanji pronunciations, mnemonic (picture or sentence) to help with remembering the kanji, the English meanings and the radicals for more complicated kanji characters.

The first page features 2 areas for writing as well as a "bookmark" (the blank rectangle). Encourage students to cut out and decorate this cover sheet with motivational study phrases or pictures. They use this bookmark to hide the above information while they practice writing.

The second page includes exclusively practice boxes.
