This is a comprehensive NO PREP, NO PRINT Kamala Harris Boom Cards Activity that addresses the concepts of comprehension, answering questions, use of context clues, use of text evidence, vocabulary, and literacy, and MORE! These cards are self-grading and are an interactive and engaging way to address a wide variety of important concepts. It includes THREE separate mini-reading passages followed by comprehension questions after each. It also includes a critical thinking open-ended section to challenge your students to apply their knowledge of what they learned from the expository text presented.

NOTE - This resource is great for year-long use as it introduces students to Vice-President Kamala Harris. It is also excellent to incorporate into your Black History Month lessons, Women's History lessons, and language and literacy lessons. Kamala Harris' journey to becoming the first Black woman elected to the Vice-President of the United States, is an excellent way to inspire, motivate, and encourage your young scholars.

This lesson includes a total of 45 full-color cards and can be played on Smartboards for whole group instruction, computers, tablets/iPads for small group and 1:1 individual learning, and speech teletherapy, telepractice (via Site/Screen Share) platforms for interactive remote sessions.
