"Kai's Tea Eggs"- Read Aloud & Activity for Asian Heritage Month

An engaging lesson & activity inspired by 'Kai's Tea Eggs' by Karina Zhou! In celebration of Asian Heritage Month, students will embark on a creative journey, reflecting on the story's message while expressing their understanding of cultural diversity through art.

This can be used to celebrate Chinese culture specifically, during Asian Heritage Month, for Multicultural lessons, or studies on cultural foods. Used in library class along with the book "Kai's Tea Eggs" (which can also be found on YouTube).

Full lesson plan included. Students will have the opportunity to draw their favorite family dish or explore the culinary traditions showcased in the story. With a variety of handout options provided, this lesson offers multiple avenues for artistic expression.
