K-12 CCSS/CCR Anchor Standards - Writing

Looking at the College and Career Readiness Anchor Standards, we noticed that there were no easy resources to see the learning progression from kindergarten to 12th grade for each individual anchor. As middle-grade teachers, we desperately want to know where our kids are coming from, and where they need to be going in the years ahead, and we couldn’t find anything that was easy for us to work with. One of the shifts we’re experiencing as we transition to CCSS/CCR is that the new standards build upon one another in a very consistent way. Because of this, being able to see the progression of each standard through the grade levels is invaluable.

So, we decided to make our own. We think these will be a super helpful resource for any teacher, at any grade level, in any state that has adopted CCSS. This bundle represents the entire set of Writing Anchor Standards, #1-10.
