Description

One of the most important aspects of Journalism is timeliness. Students need to know that deadlines matter.

This is a reflection that I make my students complete if they miss a deadline. It puts the ownership of their time management in their court.

I also require that they complete this reflection before I allow my editors to assign them another story.

If this reflection isn't thoughtful and representative of their future accountability, their grade is impacted.

It's a passive approach that once put into practice can be very powerful metacognitive tool. You can decide if it needs any changes - I've given you access as a .pdf and a .doc to make any changes you need.

Best Wishes!
