Journal writing prompts for high school growth mindset, self esteem lessons
- PDF
Description
Encourage your students to take time to explore their inner selves. Writing prompts challenge them to reflect on four self-care items:
- What do they want to say yes to in their lives?
- What do they want to say no to?
- Is there something they need to forgive themselves for?
- Is there anything they need to give themselves permission for?
This prompt comes directly from pages 58 and 59 of Spread Your Wings: A Self-Discovery Journal, a guided prompt journal that helps you dig deep, stomp out self-doubt, and fly high!
Print this PDF or invite students to write directly into a journal. Either way, they're the perfect growth mindset questions.
These are prompts you may want to return to several times during the school year. Repeat journal entries show teens how much they've grown and help them become conscious of how they'd like to keep growing.
