The reader focuses on many of the aspects of Remembrance Day celebrations in Canada including wearing poppies, making a wreath, a minute of silence and much more. With simple language, this reader is geared toward Primary French Immersion students or early Core French students.
What's included in this resource?
- Big Book (in colour and black and white) - You can laminate and bind the pages to make and share the story. I like to add the book to our class library.
- Half Page Version of Story with full text and images - Students can use this to take home, as a colouring book or booklet for their own personal book boxes.
- Half Page Version of the Story with cut and paste pictures to recreate the story. Students need to read the text and glue the images to the correct place on each page.
