Japanese: Hiragana Interactives
- PDF
Description
The purpose behind ‘interactives’ is to help students organize and synthesize the information given to them. The construction time involved provides processing time for the brain! These ‘Hiragana Interactives’ aim to provide a visual, hands-on form of note-taking and recording.
They can be used in various ways, such as mini-dictionaries. Possible vocabulary suggestions are included for each set of hiragana, but teachers and students can add any they wish.
Two styles are included: pentagon stars and ‘matchbook’ strips. Templates can be re-sized for particular purposes. They could be printed onto coloured paper/card too.
With the ‘matchbook interactives’, teachers may like to ask students to add the roomaji version of the hiragana on the bottom tab. The romanisation could appear on the front of the tab or inside, as a checker of knowledge.
