Japanese : どのきせつがすきですか　A Weather and seasons reader

This weather book has the sentence structure；
。(season)。。。。。　が　すき　です。
どうして？
。(season)。。。。　に　。(sport) 。。。。　が　できます。
ああ、そう　です　か。
The final pages asks;
どの　きせつ　が　すき　です　か。
はる、なつ、あき、ふゆ？　　　　どうして？

These readers are designed to allow students to read a Japanese book with confidence. They target basic vocabulary, while still keeping with DESU / MASU form, also with no dialect or slang. Childrens’ picture books in Japan are gorgeous, however sometimes too hard for beginner readers. These can provide a stepping stone to students getting the confidence to progress. There is a lot of repetition and while students may struggle at the start, by the end of the book, it is hoped that they can read sentences smoothly.
I use these as eBooks. I have also printed them at a A5 size (when you print, just select 2 to a page) then added a plastic cover and a back cardboard page and had them bound.
A progress chart can be added to their workbooks or folders to help them see their progress.
