What educators are saying

My students loved this lab so much, they did it twice! Thank you for a wonderfully fun and engaging resource!

Description

This lab activity is designed to encourage students to apply the Kinetic Molecular Theory and the gas laws to eight examples that they observe.

Students will work in groups to analyze and evaluate behaviors of gases in eight stations. Students will then sketch what they see, write an explanation of what’s happening, (in terms of the Kinetic Molecular Theory), and justify which gas law best fits the example.
Included in this activity packet are:
Station cards
Student notes on the Kinetic Molecular Theory and gas laws
Student Lab Handout
Complete teacher instructions, explanations and answer key for each station are included.
