Description
Islamic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate and learn about the rich contributions and history of Muslim individuals and cultures.
In the following activity, have your students select one individual to research, gather, organize, and deliver information on. They have the opportunity to highlight 3 important facts, what they are known for, challenges faced, a quote, one question they would love to ask them, and opportunity to sketch them.
There are 38 famous individuals from various fields who can be highlighted to educate kids about Islamic heritage. A tracking/sign up sheet has been provided to ensure organization on your end!
These individuals have made significant contributions in various fields and can serve as role models for children, showcasing the diversity of achievements within the Islamic community in the 21st century. It's important to highlight their accomplishments and inspire kids to pursue their passions and make a positive impact on the world.
