Description

All 3 products are very fun and interesting for students, this is a very student-led technique where curiosity leads the learning. The first assignment is all about students wondering and analyzing, PowerPoint is hands-on with fun examples and then students practice with research activity.

I start off with the Making investment question and quote activity. I find this gains a lot of interest in the topic before the actual PowerPoint starts. Feel free to cut out as many as you want or do the assignment in whichever form is most comfortable for you. This works with a speed dating version, a group version, a poster discussion, and a partner discussion with this activity so it is versatile.

I do the PowerPoint the following day since I do not have block periods, I also have the guided notes and the assignment ready and printed to hand out together at the beginning of class.
