What educators are saying

My students loved this the minute i opened it. It had engaging images and easy examples to understand. It really helped me to introduce the skill thank you.

Description

This is a stand-alone lesson plan on teaching the concept of nonfiction text structures to your students that also works well with the other comprehension and reading strategy lessons available in my store. In this lesson, you will construct an anchor chart that your students will refer to throughout the year to master the concept of text structures. You add a nonfiction interactive read-aloud and provide opportunities for partner talk. Afterwards, have students read independently for a time and, again, provide time for partner talk about the skill of sequencing. Also available in my store are the anchor charts highlighted in this lesson. Thanks for shopping and, as always, Blessings!
