Description

This year, all of our students received Chromebooks to use in every class, even music. I have created these Chromebook lessons to use in the middle school general music classroom. They are totally self contained, meaning no prep work, no prior knowledge needed. Perfect for a substitute! Just make the copies and you are ready to roll!

For this lesson, I used 2 websites: classicsforkids.com and google.com. Students will interact with each website through research, internet searching, and listening to an informative podcast geared towards kids.

Included in this .pdf: One complete lesson on composer Igor Stravinsky. Students can do this lesson on their own with no teacher assistance. Answer key included.

Materials needed for this lesson: A computer with internet access and headphones (I have a classroom set of earbuds that I picked up at the dollar tree - make sure to clean them after each use!)
