We live in a global marketplace and international travel is a vitally important to the business world. This lesson incorporates hands on learning where students prepare a 7 day international travel itinerary including flight, hotel, excursions, and activities in word processing software. GREAT NEWS, this comprehensive lesson has everything you need to teach the ins and outs of travel itineraries including class slides (with teacher script for every slide), interactive activities to engage students, 1 extension assignment, 1 independent assignment, and 2 sets of vocabulary assignments (bonus links on Quizlet and Blooket).

Lesson time is 2 - 2.5 hours. Learning goals are:

  1. Utilize online resources to research, analyze, and plan an international trip including airfare, lodging, excursions, dining, and transportation
  2. Create a 7-day international trip itinerary using document processing software such as MOS Word with tables and design elements
