Description

Are you looking for ways to organize and present your students reading progress throughout the year? This ready-to-use Excel file will make showing your students reading growth fast and easy. You will be able to create and print professional looking line graphs and charts that will visually show your class average growth and each individual student's growth in your classroom. These charts will be great reports to give to administration, parents, and to for your student records.
This file is pre-made for you so that all you have to do is enter in your students' names and their reading levels throughout the year as you collect data. Any numeric reading levels will work with this graph. (i.e. Reading Recovery, STAR, Lexile, DRA, etc.) Your class's average reading levels will automatically calculate at the bottom of the chart. A class average line graph will generate and also individual student line graphs will generate and update themselves each time you add data. This chart is set up for a class of up to 30 students, however if you have less students than that simply leave unused cells blank. It will not affect your data.
A PDF file is included in the zipped folder that is a sample of what your completed chart might look like at the end of your school year. The sample file has notes that gives detailed directions of how to complete this chart. There is also a pdf file for a cover page that could be used for a notebook or folder to present your data.
