Description

Help students remember the cup, pint, quart, and gallon equivalencies with this interactive diagram. Click on each label to show or hide each gallon equivalent. Start with showing the "Big G" to represent a gallon. Click on 'Quart' to see four Qs appear within the G. Click on 'Pint' to see two Ps appear within each Q (8 total). Click on 'Cup' to see two Cs appear within each P (16 total). Students can then be questioned to develop an understanding of the relationship between each unit. Examples include: How many quarts in a gallon? How many cups in two pints? How many pints is the same as three quarts?
