Description

Cover culture, weather, data, questioning, and more in one swoop! This bundle includes resources to scaffold and differentiate country research. The included lesson outline combined with editable slides provide a unique, modifiable integrated unit on country research. The packets are structured to include questions about culture, nature, weather, and physical geography, as well as other features. They can be edited to reflect what you would like your students to focus on. There are also doodle-continent-stickers which can be printed as stickers, or cut out by students to glue onto their pages. These are easy to use with quick passport books: folded up paper stapled down the middle!

Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
