What educators are saying

Another great find on TPT! Thank you!! :) My students enjoyed this gallery walk and read the articles. The comprehension and remembering from each of them was over the moon exciting. Their input and perception of what happened was astonishing.
This was an awesome pairing with the start of The Crucible. Loved the digital option. Very eye-opening for the students.

Description

Perfect for Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Traditional In-Person or Digital Learning Platforms. In this activity, students will do research into cases of the Innocence Project and create a poster to share the cases. They will examine how faulty eyewitness testimony as well as other factors led to the wrongful imprisonment of innocent men and women. A Gallery Walk will be used to share posters and give students the opportunity to reflect on the cases.

Working in a digital platform? No problem! A VIRTUAL GALLERY WALL can be created for digital learning so that their peers might learn from their research. Students will "visit", during the Virtual Gallery Walk, view each others work and complete a reflection sheet. Gallery Walks are a creative way to present information to students and with this activity, you can recreate this engaging learning experience virtually if needed.
