Initial R Sound Halloween Articulation Boom Cards™ Hangman Game | Pre Vocalic R Do you have students on your speech-language caseload working on initial /r/ ??! This No Prep! No Print! Halloween Articulation Game is designed similar to the classic game of Hangman. Students will be given a written clue (which can be read aloud) and then will guess letters to spell the answer. If the student is having trouble determining the target word, he/she may click on the "I Need Help" button to see a picture of the target word. Once the student/s know the target word, you can practice producing the word at the level you prefer (e.g. word, phrase, sentence).
The Build-A-Witch / Frankenstein component comes into play when the students guess letters that are not included in the target word. Place these letters in the red box. When a student guesses an incorrect letter, he/she will Build A Witch/ Frankenstein and place the items on the hanger. Drag the various parts & clothing items to create a Halloween character as you play.
40 different Initial /r/ words including : rake, rope, read, rock, & many more!!
