Description

This freebie is one of my FAVORITE graphic organizers for planning, organizing and writing. POW!
These can be printed out and used as templates, printed as posters, or projected so that students can draw their OWN topic house graphic organizer when planning their writing.
I like to say that it easily expands from a "house" to a "hotel" by adding more floors so that students can write as many important details as they can on their informative piece or explanatory text.
I've also included a simple song to help the students remember POW and TIDE when planning their piece.
Last, I included a student sample from a writing journal.
