What educators are saying

My students found this resource helpful when completing writing activities for informational reports.. it was an easy go to to enhance their sentence writing.
These sentence starters were perfect for my students' project on animals. For the struggling writer, it provided a place for kids to start. For higher students, they were able to produce sentences of varying content.

Description

This sheet is a great resource during informational/non-fiction writing. Students often have the information to share, but don't know how to start the sentence. Over the course of the unit, students become more familiar with the sentence starters and start to memorize them to the point where they don't need it anymore!

I print on colored paper and have students keep it for the entirety of the unit; it becomes one of their most used papers!
