This lesson uses "Scientific Informational Text" to define and analyze the use of the Engineering Design Process in the creation of a device that turns salt water into drinking water using solar power. Students read article on how a group of students created and designed this device. The students are then asked to analyze the article and apply it to the Engineering Design Process.
