    Description

It is very important for students to use graphic organizers to record their thoughts while reading. This pack offers both my
Grades 1-3 Graphic Organizer Pack and my Grades 4-5 Graphic Organizer Pack.
Save money by purchasing this bundle.

There are a total of 39 graphic organizers for informational text. There is at least 1 graphic organizer for each of the 9 informational CCSS (the 10th standard states that students will read a variety of texts, so all of the graphic organizers included support that last standard). The graphic organizers are not tied to any specific text, so you can use them with any text you want!

These graphic organizers are very similar to the ones included in my Close Reads Packs. I know my students benefit from using consistent graphic organizers for each skill. This way they can focus on the content and comprehending the text instead of learning how to fill out different graphic organizers. Once students learn a skill and how to use the graphic organizer, they will become more independent while reading text.

You can use these graphic organizer for center work, independent work, homework, or assessments. You can even use these graphic organizers during science or social studies for quick and easy content integration!

I love that this product is that it includes graphic organizers for 1st through 5th grades, but what I love even more is that these graphic organizers offer an easy way to differentiate based on your students' needs. If your students have to read the same text, you can still differentiate! The levels are labeled with symbols so you know which level a student is getting, but the student does not. If some of your students are ready to dig a little deeper into the text, you can give them a more advanced graphic organizer. All students can be practicing the same skill but on their own level.
