Information Report Booklet

This is an information report RESEARCH booklet for animals.

The documents assists students when finding information about a group of animals. It contains:

- a front cover
- classification statement scaffold
- animal description pages (classification/appearance/diet/habitat/interesting fact)
- area for labelled diagrams
- glossary

IN MY CLASSROOM I use this booklet when teaching students how to write an information report as it provides support and scaffolding. I provide students with Animal Information Posters BUNDLE (Australian/African/Asian/Ocean), which are laminated, for students to gather facts. However, you can use books, the internet or any other information source. Once students have filled in their booklet it is easy to form the paragraphs needed in their information report.

To print as a booklet, print back and front and fold in half. Ensure you have printed the booklet file. You can enlarge to A3 to provide more room for students to write.
