Infant Unit Mad Libs | Child Development Activity | CTE FCS FACS
- PDF
Description
Try these Infant Mad Libs to peek interest about the infants unit before you get started, keep your students engaged during the unit, include core standards (ELA - parts of speech) in your FCS classroom, spur on meaningful and relevant discussion, and incorporate humor.
This resource might lead to different discussions from breastfeeding in public to feeding babies purees or choosing baby led weaning.
This resource includes 4 infant themed mad libs as a PDF file.
- Hello Baby
- To Sleep or Not to Sleep
- Breastfeeding and Blowouts
- First Foods
This activity is great for FCS classes including:
- Principles of Human Services
- Child Development
- Human Growth and Development
- Parenting
- Child Guidance
- Family and Community Services
Ideas for use in your Family and Consumer Sciences class:
- Play as a whole class. You fill in the blanks from students as they raise their hands then read their adapted story to them at the beginning of class to kick things off in a fun and unexpected way.
- Split the class into groups and have them take turns completing the different mad lib stories.
