Industrial Revolution Lesson: Mapping the Industrial Revolution

Moving from the Scientific Revolution to the Enlightenment to Political Revolutions to the Industrial Revolution was not an unsystematic succession of events. This assignment is designed to give students observed evidence that this is true. They will map where important Enlightenment ideas spread, where political revolutions occurred, and where valuable inventions were created, and then draw logical conclusions (hopefully) that none of these events happened independent of the others.

This lesson can be used independently as a geography skills lesson, or can be used as part of our bigger Political and Industrial Revolutions unit.
