This resource features 17 inventors of the Industrial Age. Each document includes a photograph of the inventor, a short biography that describes the impact of their inventions, and then pictures of the inventions themselves.

Four pages of worksheets are included for differentiation. Two pages are a graphic organizer where students can record key information on each inventor. One page is a set of higher-order thinking questions that can be completed regardless of which/how many inventors the students were able to read about. The final page is a venn diagram where students can compare and contrast two inventors or inventions
