Description

Students use Indigenous art techniques (particularly ‘rarrk’ i.e. cross-hatching) to compose an X-ray drawing of their favourite animal. This also supports their understanding of animal body parts and systems. Slides include examples of X-ray drawings, a 4-step guide to composition, and images of animal skeletons. Any media can be used for this activity e.g. pencil, paint, pen, crayon.

To develop this resource, I adapted some information and images from Artyfactory. You can access further details about X-ray drawings from their website: https://bit.ly/39W1tVz
