What educators are saying

Great resource to help students struggling with understanding the difference between independent and dependent variables.
Great resource to help students practice the concepts. I've used this with different grade levels, and they all respond well to the material.

Description

Practice independent and dependent variables with these two worksheets. Each worksheet has six scientific questions. Students identify the independent and dependent variables within those scientific questions. Both of the two worksheets have the SAME scientific questions and variables. The difference between the two worksheets is that the first one is meant to only practice identifying variables. The second worksheet instructs students to write hypotheses after identifying the variables. Use the two worksheets at different times of the year or use both worksheets during the same lesson to differentiate within a class.

The worksheets are each one page long and have complete answer keys.
