Description
We are learning so much in February! In language arts, we are reading and writing sentences, identifying middle sounds in CVC words, decoding mystery CVC words, and reading and writing sight words. In math, we are practicing more or less using ten frames, practicing sums of 5, adding using pictures and writing a matching equation, counting teen numbers, writing number words, counting ten frames to represent teen numbers and writing teen numbers using a number line to help.
I designed these daily review worksheets so students could become independent with the activities.
This standards based, math and language arts program is perfect for the classroom, distance learning or homeschooling. It is structured in a way that is so easy to implement, and students can quickly become confident and independent with the standards that we are working on this month.

The format and standards stay the same for 1-2 weeks at a time. Students love that they know what to expect and can practice the same standard multiple days in a row. DAILY TASKS

20 days are included, so students complete these activity pages each day. They are labeled Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc. and will take them through the entire month.
If you print this pack front to back, it only requires two pieces of paper each day.
♦ Kindergarten Language Arts
This daily worksheet focuses on the exact kindergarten standards I target in February.
What is covered this month? Reading a sentence and coloring the picture that matches (comprehension check), tracing a complete sentence and then writing it on their own, segmenting CVC words and identifying middle sounds in CVC words, decoding mystery CVC words by using pictures and letter sounds, reading and writing sight words.
♦ Kindergarten Math
The daily kindergarten math page also focuses on specific standards we are working on in February.
What is covered this month? More or less using heart ten frames, sums of 5, adding using pictures and writing a matching equation, counting teen numbers using ten sticks and ones, writing number words, counting ten frames to represent teen numbers and writing teen numbers using a number line to help.
♦ Daily Reading Log
Students are asked to read, or be read to, for 20 minutes a day. Then they fill out their daily reading log. This month, students are asked to draw a picture of the book they are reading and then we practice emotional words this month. They trace emotion words and complete a sentence about how they are feeling.
Students complete the three activity pages each day as shown above, and then there are three blank spots on their daily task pages for you to add additional tasks/activities (optional).

OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL TASKS

I made the additional task and activity cards with both teachers and parents in mind! These are optional and parents can cut them out and glue them on to specific days as needed. It is a great visual and is very helpful so students can see what they are expected to do each day.
