Description
Encourage your students to develop an understanding for the importance of measurement techniques in the kitchen.
Students will independently complete this Webquest using Google Slides as their guide. Teachers can either assign a copy of the slides to students through Google Classroom, or have them follow along on one presentation (recommendation to make it "view only"!)
The assignment provides students with 5 tasks to complete in which they will...
- Learn how to measure ingredients (dry, liquid, and moist)
- Identify tips for measuring ingredients
- Understand the use of equivalents and conversions in recipes
Students are provided with videos, articles, and graphics to lead them through their exploration. This activity is great for those in need of a last-minute sub plan!

- Guided worksheet for students (2 pages)
