Each card references the page that students should read to find the answer to the question.
Student answer sheets are included that incorporate graphic organizers to support students to organize their thinking.
It is recommended that before beginning the activity, the teacher should read the introduction to the book …If You Lived With the Iroquois by Ellen Levine. After reading, show the students how the book works. Explain that it is a question and answer book. It asks a question about the Iroquois and then answers it. The first sentence usually answers the question in a general way, and then more details are given.
