A Titanic Story - This interdisciplinary book companion and novel study includes comprehension, literary instruction, reflection, critical thinking, discussion, and composition prompts for studying the outstanding historical fiction novel, Iceberg, by award-winning author, Jennifer Nielsen. This book is an inspiring narrative account of the fateful maiden journey of the RMS Titanic. This interdisciplinary novel study opens the door to many important discussion opportunities for students within the classroom and beyond.

  • This book is an especially useful vehicle for addressing a wide range of TEKS and Common Core standards and the questions provided allow differentiation and adaptation of how the book is used to address these standards in discussion, presentation, and composition.
