Description

Ice Cream Treats Webquest Internet Scavenger Hunt Activity Worksheets

Your students will have fun learning many interesting facts about ice cream as they reinforce their reading and research skills. Did you know that the largest ice cream sundae ever created weighed 24 tons? Did you know that one ice cream parlor has 860 flavors of ice cream?

This two page webquest allows students to use their internet search and interpretation skills to learn some wacky facts about ice cream. There are 10 questions in all. Kid-friendly graphics have been added to the webquest to make it more appealing to your students. An answer key is included.

I have also included a handy internet search guide that they can keep on their desk while they do webquests.

Teach your students how to effectively use targeted keywords to make their internet search activities go smoothly.

Check out my How To Search the Internet Powerpoint Lesson.

I suggest using Google Safe Search Kids to help students find the information.
