ITALIAN: COME SEI TU ? (GLI AGGETTIVI)

This Powerpoint is intended to introduce students to descriptive adjectives in Italian. Briefly reviews the verb essere.

Vocabulary includes synonyms and antonyms. Most slides depict two antonyms with pictures. Each vocab slide contains the Italian word, English equivalent and a picture. Five slides have questions pertaining to famous people such as: Taylor Swift, Barak Obama etc.

Vocabulary includes: forte=robusto / debole, buono/cattivo, intelligente/stupido, bello/brutto, giovane/ vecchio=anziano, moderno/antico, bruno/biondo. simpatico/antipatico, freddo/caldo, facile/difficile, ricco/povero, magro/grasso etc. Last slide contains a listening activity (with teacher script in the notes section) and a speaking activity to be done in pairs.
