IB PYP & MYP Learning Profile SUPER Cards US Paper

Note: This file is sized for printing on 8.5x11 paper & has been updated to comply with the IB wording changes to take place in January 2014.

This series of comic styled IB Learning Profile Cards has been designed to complement my SUPER Learning Profile Posters. They can be used as bookmarks, rewards, reminders or in any other manner that would be useful in your classroom.

The wording on the cards are the same as on the Learning Posters:

Reflective - We think about our work and our actions. We consider our strengths & weaknesses in a constructive manner.

Caring - We show empathy, compassion & respect towards the needs and feeling of others. We're committed to actively making a positive difference to the lives of others & to the environment.

Knowledgeable - We seek and share ideas, information & experiences to understand our changing world.

Open-minded - We understand our own culture and history and are open to the perspectives, values & traditions of others. We seek and evaluate new experiences and grow in our own understanding.

Global Thinker - When we have a problem to solve, we think creatively about different ways to solve it. We consider many perspectives and how our solution will impact others.

Inquirer - We are curious and enjoy learning. We seek to develop our skills in inquiry & research to become independent learners.

Communicator - We can share our ideas with others in many ways and in more than one language.

Balanced - We actively work to balance our minds, health and emotions. We have many interests and work well in groups as well as independently. We balance our activities to achieve our best in life.

Principled - We act with integrity & honesty. We respect the dignity of others. We take responsibility for our actions and their consequences.

Courageous - We have confidence to try new things. We have the courage to stand up for what we feel is right.
