IB PYP Learner Profile Crowns

This set of fun, differentiated crowns includes both blank and coloring page crowns which represent the IB principles. The crowns are a fun way to introduce or spotlight the Learner Profiles. Younger students with limited knowledge of the IB principles can color and discuss how to set goals and incorporate those traits by debriefing on their ideas depicted in the representations.

Older students can utilize the blank templates to record their ideas or goals. This activity could also be used to help students create action cycles as to how they will aspire to the IB Learner Profile traits.

The crowns can be utilized in mini-lessons to introduce each trait, to reward students who exhibit those traits, awarded during individual class or grade level ceremonies, or used as a goal-setting or reflection tool to inspire students to be mindful of their choices and actions. Students may also utilize the crowns to aid them with growth mindsets as they goal set to work towards each attribute.
