IB French B is a 2 year course and the teacher guide provides the tools, strategies and instructional materials to equip you for teaching this subject and preparing your students.
Exercises include: press articles from the francophone world—Africa, France, Canada, Belgium, Vietnam, Maghreb etc.; IB style text manipulation; multiple interactive activities reflecting the francophone world; listening comprehension of authentic and diverse francophone speech; and, an exploration of international cinema and literature and issues of human and social interest in the form of analysis, debate, lexical memorization, games and individual presentations.
Materials include: pacing guide, daily lesson plans, class notes, PPT's, teacher edition of the student activity book, assessments and sound MP3 files.
Topics include: On se dérouille, Une francophonie aux multiples visages, A la découverte de l’Afrique francophone, Le français en Amérique du Nord, Le Maghreb et les Maghrébins, Le français en Asie, Le français en Europe: la France, la Belgique, la Suisse et le Grand Duché du Luxembourg.
