This unit has 44 pages full of vocabulary and comprehension questions. It is set up so that vocabulary is done for two chapters at a time, the two chapters are read, and then there are comprehension questions for those two chapters. This unit can be used for small group literature circles or as a whole class read.

There is also a three page test with 15 multiple choice questions and three written response questions.

The unit also includes:

An activity for your students to write a front page newspaper article to report the sinking of the Titanic (rough draft for notes and paper for final copy included).

A KWL Chart for the R.M.S. Titanic.

A research activity with questions to guide the student's research and paper to write a research report about the R.M.S. Titanic.

An answer key for the vocabulary, comprehension questions, and test.
