This Level C Beginner Book titled "I Don't Want to Eat" is a great bilingual book to teach beginner readers about food and vegetables vocabulary, and beginner reader concepts!

This Easy Reader was created to teach vocabulary, engage and build confidence in our emerging readers, while helping to practice sight words, one-to-one word correspondence and basic primary level reading strategies.

What is included? There are four versions of this book included.

#1: A teacher version in color. (Spanish & English copies).

#2: Student black line to color, and save on ink. (Spanish & English copies).

Teaching Tips:

This is a great book to implement during guided reading groups, projected in front of the whole class as a read aloud, in small groups or to have students take home to build their confidence as well as vocabulary even further. The books are made to create confident readers whom are not only native speakers, but also for students who are learning Spanish as a 2nd language.

Suggested Guided Reading Level: C

This is a great book to reinforce sight words, as well as teaching dialogue. There are two people speaking in this book, the girl and the mom. Example sentences: "I don't want to eat the tomato," says the girl. "It's good for you," says the mom." This is also a great book to implement during guided reading groups, in small groups or to have students take home to build their confidence as well as vocabulary even further. The books are made to create confident readers whom are not only native speakers, but also for students who are learning Spanish as a 2nd language.
