The unit is divided into four sections:

- What is needed for growth?
- Your brain is growing too!
- You can help your brain grow!
Each section includes: anchor charts, pocket chart cards, group discussion ideas/prompts, discussion stories with follow-up questions, cut-and-paste activities, matching worksheets, coloring pages and journal prompts/ideas.
The unit also includes at the end a whole group growth mindset activity as well as a mini-book.
