Description

This hundreds chart activity will help your students develop number sense, mental math strategies, and place value concepts! Each task card includes a different "chunk," or section, of the hundreds chart with clues to assist the student in solving the math puzzle. Perfect for any model of instruction, these come with a printable version, as well as a digital Google Slides version for use with Google Classroom. The digital math task cards are a great way to incorporate technology for in-person learners, and are perfect for distance learning!

This math practice is perfect for developing mental math strategies for 10 more and 10 less and 1 more and 1 less!

The differentiated hundreds chart activity provides 3 levels of support to make providing targeted support EASY for teachers!

  • Set A - Provides the most support with 5 Clues to help students solve the hundreds chart puzzle
  • Set B - Provides some support with 3 clues to help students solve the hundreds chart puzzle
  • Set C - Provides the least support with only 1 clue to help students solve the hundreds chart puzzle

This set includes 20 differentiated puzzles in color and printer-friendly, black and white. You also get a digital version of each color set! An answer key is included. There are also a few pages included with tips to help you get started with the digital task cards.

How to Use this Resource:

Use these task cards during whole group number talks, in a small-group math station, as independent math practice, morning work, or even at the teacher table for guided practice or during math interventions.
