How to write a Fairy Tale or Fable

This is a step by step process for writing a fairy tale or fable. This 21 page packet contains two stories for the students to read, vocabulary terms to improve their understanding of story elements, a step by step worksheet (with a few examples) to aide in the process of writing a fairy tale or fable, and requirements for the actual written piece. This is a fun way to get students writing. They will have an eye opening experience when they see the characteristics of a fairy tale or fable and how they are present in their knowledge of fairy tales and fables.
